With over 25 years of diverse experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge in business management, insurance, and senior care. My career began in a family-owned electrical and safety engineering business, where we specialized in the design, build, and installation of automation equipment for manufacturing facilities. For 10 years, I oversaw the inspection of equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards, and we designed and installed systems to bring automation lines up to code. This hands-on experience in engineering gave me a strong foundation in problem-solving, project management, and customer service.In addition to the engineering business, our family also ran a motorcycle shop, manufacturing cargo trailers pulled by motorcycles, converting bikes into trikes, and providing maintenance and accessories. We traveled across the country, attending motorcycle rallies to showcase our products and services, combining passion with business.My journey into the insurance world began with roles at Shelter Insurance and State Farm Insurance, where I gained valuable industry knowledge over five years. Building on this experience, I founded my own independent agency, which I ran successfully for 12 years. I specialized in Major Medical Insurance, Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage Plans, Long-Term Care, and a variety of personal and business insurance solutions, including home, auto, life, and business coverage.In 2019, I expanded into senior care by acquiring a Caring Transitions franchise. There, I focused on helping seniors downsize, relocate, and manage estate sales. My team provided services like packing, unpacking, home improvements, and even real estate sales. After two successful years, I closed the business due to the challenges posed by COVID-19.Most recently, I worked at Assurance, selling Medicare Advantage Plans and life insurance, until the company closed in 2023. Today, I am the proud owner of a HealthMarkets agency, leveraging my extensive background in small business operations and the insurance industry to provide personalized solutions that meet my clients' unique needs.Whether you're a senior navigating Medicare options, a business owner looking for comprehensive insurance, or someone preparing for the future, I'm here to offer expert guidance.
